Come join us as we welcome the spring and reaffirm why we're the best damned city on the planet! This is a Chicago style social mixer, except they'll be no hot dogs on poppy seeded buns w/Jays potato chips, Old Style beer, Lawerence Fisheries shrimp, Garrets pop corn, Leon's Barbeque, Lou Malnati's pizza or a fat Italian beef dipped. HOWEVER there will be a bevy of fine wines and champange at the very chic wine bar BOTTLE ROCK in the heart of Culver City. Come see why yuppies and buppies alike have voted this "Best Wine Bar in Los Angeles" by City Guide/AOL. The bar has indoor/outdoor seating, 2 flat screen tv's for you sports fan, and a small night menu. Parking isn't terrible, there are 3 Culver City parking lots and plenty of metered street parks. So whilst we fill our livers with wine we'll welcome the spring discuss Chi City politics, re-hash high school rivalries, Steppin', and how NONE of us will ever call it the Willis Tower--it's the SEARS TOWER dammit. Come and join this wonderful group of Mid-Western folk talk about da Bulls, da Bears, and that GD Blagojevich! (I'm kidding, I really like our governor---well former governor. Yikes, somebody is having the worst week ever!) An intelligent group of mixed professionals (don't worry you will NOT be bored to death with a group filled with actors). There will be lawyers, long shoremen, surgeons, spelunkers, basketweavers, short order cooks, actors (duh) writers, bank tellers, and sanitation workers. Know why? CUZ WE REPRESENTING CHICAGO BABY!
